Questions about our work

Clear answers about the Foundation, TeMWEP and ways to get involved.

We work with communities in northern Ghana to expand opportunities for girls, young women, women and children. TeMWEP focuses on vocational skills and livelihoods, alongside community outreach and plans for a permanent training centre.

The Foundation is based in Bolgatanga in Ghana’s Upper East Region. The proposed training centre is at Pusu Namogo in Talensi District.

The registration number is CG078231122. The NPO licence reference is NPOS/UE11/LNO1507/24. Contact the Foundation for the latest available organisational documents.

TeMWEP is the Foundation’s core vocational initiative for young women, including teenage mothers and young wives. It connects practical skills with the intention of expanding livelihood opportunities.

The Foundation received 51 sewing machines with support from Gered Gereedschap. This is an equipment-receipt figure; it is not a count of people trained or machines currently in use.

More than 300 young women over the first three years is the programme’s initial target. It should not be read as a completed result.

The centre is a proposed development seeking support. Images labelled as concepts illustrate the intention and are not photographs of a completed building. See the proposed centre.
